If you don\u2019t have a prescription for NAGLAZYME but think that NAGLAZYME may be right for you, talk to your doctor. Once you have a prescription, BioMarin RareConnections<sup>TM<\/sup> can help with billing and insurance.<\/p>\n<h2>How the infusion works<\/h2>\n<p>Here are the basic steps for a NAGLAZYME infusion<sup>1<\/sup>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You\u2019ll go to the infusion center for your appointment<\/li>\n<li>Before treatment, the nurse will make sure you don\u2019t have a fever or infection<\/li>\n<li>You may get an antihistamine or fever reducer to help you during the infusion<\/li>\n<li>The nurse will start an intravenous line (IV), prepare the NAGLAZYME, and start the infusion<\/li>\n<li>The infusion will take about 4 hours<\/li>\n<li>The nurse will check with you regularly to make sure you continue to feel OK. The rate of infusion may be adjusted, if needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you don\u2019t feel well or have questions, talk to your nurse. The nurse can answer your questions, and may be able to help you be more comfortable.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>After the infusion, you\u2019ll wait a short while to make sure everything is still OK. Then you\u2019ll go home until the next week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Finding an infusion center<\/h2>\n<p>NAGLAZYME<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> (galsulfase) is given by IV infusion once a week at an infusion center. Some infusion centers are stand\u2010alone clinics. Others are part of a hospital.
