Consequences of noncompliance

To maximize efficacy of NAGLAZYME®(galsulfase), adherence is essential

Enzyme replacement therapy with NAGLAZYME is designed to address the deficiency of enzyme activity and its multisystemic effects.1 In order to maximize its effects, patients must adhere to their infusion schedule.

If therapy stops:

Although it is unclear how disease manifestations other than improved endurance are affected by ERT, it is likely that improvements seen in endurance alone may optimize the ability to carry out activities of daily living.16

Be proactive

Inevitably, patients may miss infusion appointments due to illness. If a delay in therapy appears unexplained it is critical to get to the root cause and find solutions to fears, misaligned expectations, or other issues. BPPS can help physicians and patients resolve these issues.
